CALLAN is a niche creative knitwear company run by Mary Callan in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

The designer specialises in well made, colourful and fun fashion knitwear.

The Callan Knitwear workshop is based in an historic Belfast linen mill. This is where every CALLAN scarf and sweater is hand loomed, hand tooled and hand finished.

While Mary is passionate about heritage skills, she also aims to create exuberant modern designs that bring energy and joy to the wearer.

CALLAN knitwear is made from Merino wool and cashmere/wool mix yarns. Natural fibres are warm, breathable, soft and biodegradable. Mary selects the best fibres from the market leading mills in Italy and Scotland ensuring softness, permanence and luxury.
