This mid weight textured scarf is hand loomed in the CALLAN knitwear studio, located in one of Belfast’s former linen mills.
It is hand tooled on a 1960s industrial knitting machine called a Dubied. These Swiss engineered machines enable the maker to create complex fabrics with beautiful precision. The result is an artisanal product of the highest standard and finish.
The Tweed scarf is knitted from a Scottish cashmere mix yarn and Italian merino wool. Both yarns have been selected for their exceptional quality, softness and colours. Importantly, the manufacturers adhere to ethical practices such as environmentally friendly dyes and anti mulesing policies.
The traditional tuck stitch fabric is contrasted with bright pops of lime and tomato, marrying classic and modern design elements beautifully.
80% lambswool 20% cashmere.
